Message From The President
I am thrilled to share that the Biofeedback Society of Texas (BST) is officially back and revitalized! As I reflect on the trailblazers who helped establish and grow this society since its founding in 1976, I recognize the privilege of serving as the organization’s current president. Our board has been hard at work laying the foundation to reconnect, grow, and support professionals like you who are passionate about biofeedback, neurofeedback, and other self-regulation modalities.
In the coming weeks, we will be rolling out exciting updates on society membership, continuing education opportunities, and our annual conference. Our hope is that the new BST website is a premier destination for professionals to access resources, stay informed, and connect with colleagues across Texas.
From my own educational and clinical experience, I have witnessed how biofeedback modalities humanize clients’ experiences, enhance overall wellbeing, and serve as a bridge for traditionally underserved populations. These experiences remind me daily of the power of self-regulation; not only as a set of techniques but as a means of empowerment, healing, and connection.
This is a pivotal moment for Texas and the surrounding community. Whether you are a past member, a student, or newly exploring the field, I invite you to join us as we move forward in strengthening our collective impact and shaping the future of biofeedback together.
