2010 Conference in Houston
Mark your calendars for October 15, 16 and 17, 2010. We are
closing in on selecting a great location in The Galleria area of
Houston. The area is known for great shopping, great restaurants
and a variety of activities to enjoy. Do you have an interesting
case study, treatment approach or breakthrough in the field?
Share your knowledge and expertise. We are looking for
presenters for workshops (1.5 hours, 3 hours or a 6 hour block)
and the general conference.
Please contact
Jana Sever if you are
interested in presenting or if you would like to help with the
conference in other ways.
Thanks,

2009 CONFERENCE RECAP
Our 2009 Conference, "Elevate," in Salado was a great success! BST is
grateful to all of our highly respected speakers and workshop presenters
like Dr. Barb Peavey, Dr. Ken Bateman, Mary O'Connor and Keynote
Speaker, Dr. Ron Swatzyna. It was also a treat to hear Dr. Genie
Bodenhamer- Davis give an update on the UNT Neurofeedback Lab.
Additionally, we were thrilled to welcome three new PhD student
presenters, Ashley Gartner, Ramona Burroughs and Crystal Ebert. We look
forward to seeing all of you again in 2010.
Stagecoach provided us with a great rate for both guest rooms and the
conference hall along with wonderful food. Because of their competitive
prices, we were able to make a profit, and we will have a total in the
next newsletter. We wrapped up our conference with a fun-filled Casino
Night. Many of you commented that you would like to do that again in the
future. And, speaking of the future, it's not too early to let us know
what you would like to have at this year's conference in Houston. Simply
email
Mardie with your suggestions. We always
appreciate your feedback.
I have so enjoyed serving as your Program Chair for the last two
years! I hope you have had a wonderful time elevating your passion and
pursuit of biofeedback in both your practice and personal growth. We
have phenomenal members and minds in our society, and I encourage us all
to stay active in BST and to strive for excellence in our practices.
Personal blessings,
Natalie Thomas, LPC
