WS-1, 2:00 - 5:00  Comorbid Posttraumatic Stress Disorder with Traumatic Brain Injury:
Neurological Challenges Affecting Treatment and Prognosis, Dr. Ron J. Swatzyna

This workshop will: 1) present the current scientific research on the complex nature of coexisting TBI and PTSD, 2) describe the neurological structures, brain chemistry, and electrical activity that presents challenges to efficacious treatment, 3) provide rationale for an individualized treatment model that integrates Quantitative Electroencephalogram (QEEG) analysis, biofeedback, and QEEG-guided neurotherapy into a cognitive rehabilitation program, and 4) discuss optimal prognosis considerations.

WS-3, 8:00 - 12:00  Psychopharmacology & Biofeedback, Dr. Barb Peavey

An in-depth review of medications and how they impact biofeedback readings.

WS-4, 1:00 - 3:00   Proper 10-20 EEG Placement, Mary O'Connor, RVT

How to measure and mark the 10-20 technique by first utilizing foam heads and then practicing with partners. By the end of the workshop, participants should understand the system as well as how to use it in their work setting. Materials are included in the workshop fee.
