Other Interesting Things to Do In Fort Worth (Cowtown USA)

There are 3 entertainment districts. Each has its own unique flavor. Whatever your preference in art, you can find it at one of these wonderful museums: The Kimble Art Museum, the new Museum of Modern Art, the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame, the Amon Carter Museum, and the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame.

Next is Sundance Square in historic Downtown Fort Worth where you can make a stop at the Cattle Raisers Museum before taking in the great cafes, restaurants, theaters and shopping in the beautiful revitalized area. This area, called “Hell’s Half Acre” in the days of the great cattle drives, is now a place where you will polish your best boots and head to the opera, a Broadway musical, or a Willie Nelson concert.

Lastly, the Stockyards National Historic District is where daily longhorn cattle drives end at an authentic cattle auction. The Stockyards is also known as offering the country’s best Western shopping. Custom made boots are a must have! And you may want to visit the world’s largest honky-tonk – Billy Bob’s Texas.
